Oregon Tuna Fishing

Oregon Sport Fishing has a rich history along it's incredible saltwater shorelines. Quaint coastal communities with scenic bays and rivers meeting the majestic pacific for one of the most spectacular coastlines in the world. Fishing offshore here brings salmon, halibut, lingcod, and our favorite---ALBACORE! Going after these amazing fighters is the most action packed season on the coast. From our live bait casting trips to the Oregon Tuna Fishing Classic tournament series, the 'Secret Island' raises fish and is "the boat to be on" in this incredibly fun fishery.

Albacore Tuna Fishing from Garibaldi Oregon is one of the best offshore fisheries on the entire west coast. Warm waters from the central pacific come in June and puts our home port right in the middle of all the action. Sports fishermen, charter boats and commercial tuna fishermen congregate here from Oregon, Washinton and California as they get in on some of the hardiest bounty anywhere in the world.

Many pelaegic species such as blue fin tuna, yellow fin tuna, yellow tail tuna, dorado, marlin, sailfish, swordfish and thresher sharks have been caught in these enormously productive waters that are our own backyard.
