The Tuna Fishing Season
For the Summer Season it's "All Tuna - All The Time!" We are passionate about this Oregon tuna fishery and dedicate our season to it. This keeps us on the tuna fish movements and habits every day. Knowing "Where to go" and "What to use" when you get there are the keys to success when fishing albacore tuna.
The Albacore tuna fishing occurs during the summer and fall for Northwest sportsman. The fish normally come within sportfishing range by mid-June and can be here well into October. People always ask "Which month is the best fishing? June, July, August, September?" the answer is "All of the above". Each month can be as successful as the other by changing gear and tactics to match the fish 'biting' behaviors. During the early season trolling is common and has its place. Mid-season though the habits change and live bait becomes the best game in town. Also during the late season spin-casting to 'jumper' schools in addition to the l;ive bait is really great fun! Success is readily found all season and we suggest basing your trip date on what type of tackle style you are interested in using.
We also fish the Oregon Tuna Classic Series and are available for your team to get one of the best boats on the oregon coast with podium experience! For booking a tournament and adjacent day's contact us for more specific information.

For the spring season Oregon Halibut Fishing is regulated to specific days by the ODFW. Guidelines are set to not overfish the allowable quota and can be veiwed at ODFW . Please call for open dates and availability.
